The California Department of Food and Agriculture – Division of Measure Standards   has recommended that cannabis dispensary scale should be of a Class II accuracy class with a weighing capacity of 1 kg, 2 lb. or 32 oz. or less, and a readability (resolution) no greater than 0.05 grams, 0.002 oz. or 0.0001 lb.
